Methods of packaging

METHODS OF PACKAGING:

  1. Paper cartons: These are used to pack small non-fragile items e.g. ball pens
  2. Corrugated paper cartons: These are used to package fragile and heavy items e.g. eggs.
  3. Polythene bags (Plastic bags): These are used to pack durables and non perishable.
  4. Paper packages: These are used to pack loose items e.g. flour.
  5. Blister packages: These are used to pack medicines.
  6. Crates: These are used to pack primary packages of liquids e.g. sodas.
  7. Wooden packages: These are used to pack heavy and big items.
  8. Cardboard packages: These are used to pack heavy items.
  9. Sacks: They are used to pack loose items such as nails, cereals and nuts.
  10. Tetra packaging: These are used to pack perishables and highly contaminated products.
  11. Pressurized cylinders: These are used to pack gases.
