  3. Good access when needed.
  4. Maintenance of material condition and integrity;
  5. Safety
  6. Space-land, building and building services;
  7. Fire protection;
  8. Handling equipment including maintenance;
  9. Weathertight make sure windows and doors fit securely.
  10. Watertight do not store records or archives near plumbing pipes,sinks or toilets.
  11. Cool and dry -there should be good air circulation.
  12. Free from damp.
  13. Clean and free of dust-
